St. Paul’s Annual Picnic/Pool Party Sunday, August 16, 2026, 1:00-4:00 PM — The Rudnitskys’ backyard, 108 Susquehanna Avenue
Rain or shine, St. Paul's annual Picnic/Pool Party is happening on Sunday, August 16, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Rudnitskys', 108 Susquehanna Avenue. The weather looks questionable, so plan on being inside. There is plenty of room, and if the rain lets up, we will head back out. Either way, come on your own, bring the whole family, or invite a friend. Bring a picnic-style snack or dish to share with the group. We will provide drinks, soda, children's juice boxes, paper products, plates, and utensils. If the weather clears, the pool, ping pong, and shuffleboard are all yours, so toss a swimsuit and towel in the car just in case.
Kettle-Cooked Vegetable Soup Sale Copy Saturday, August 22, 2026 | 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM | St. Paul's parking lot, 400 N Market Street
St. Paul's is holding a vegetable soup sale on Saturday, August 22, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the church parking lot at 400 N Market Street. The kettle goes on the fire early that morning, and by 11:00 we will have 100 quarts of hearty soup ready. Every dollar goes to Loaves & Fishes to help feed our neighbors.
Soup is $10 a quart, and the soup is meatless. We take cash or card. Come early, because when the 100 quarts are gone, they are gone. If you would rather order ahead, you can reserve and pay for your quarts online and pick them up at the sale.
Questions? Call the church office at 570-374-8749.
Kickoff Sunday Church Picnic | Sunday, September 13 | East Snyder Park Pavilion
Come spend an afternoon of food and fellowship as we kick off our church year. We gather at the East Snyder Park pavilion on Sunday, September 13, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, right beside the playground so the kids have room to run. Bring your family and friends, and know that everyone is welcome.
The church provides pulled pork and rolls, lemonade and water, and homemade ice cream. We ask everyone attending to bring:
A side dish or dessert to share
Reusable plates and utensils, since we will have some paper and plastic on hand but would like to keep waste down
A lawn chair
Please sign up so we can plan for the right amount of food. We are looking forward to starting the year together.
Bacon Cheeseburger Night | Thursday, September 17 | Selinsgrove VFW
The Selinsgrove VFW is hosting a Bacon Cheeseburger Night to benefit our Loaves and Fishes Food Bank on Thursday, September 17, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Nine dollars gets you a bacon cheeseburger, your choice of French fries, onion rings, or macaroni and cheese, and a fountain drink. The evening is open to the public, so bring a friend or a neighbor and let someone else do the cooking. Loaves and Fishes serves neighbors across our community every month, and nights like this one help keep the shelves stocked. Turnout has been strong in past years, and we would love to see the room full again. Questions? Call the church office at 570-374-8749.
