What we believe

Jesus welcomes all, we welcome all! We are an Open and Affirming congregation in the United Church of Christ. In the footsteps of Jesus, we feed the hungry, welcome the strangers, visit the sick, and serve our community.

We take the Bible seriously. It contains faith witnesses of people who encountered the living God. We let these faith experiences inform, inspire, and guide us. We also remain open to how God is still speaking to us today. We practice two sacraments to connect more deeply with Jesus Christ: Holy Communion on the first Sundays of the month and Baptism.

We value traditional expressions of faith, like the Apostles Creed and the Statement of Faith of the Untied Church of Christ. We partner with sister congregations, various faith communities, service organizations, and people of good will to create a more just, compassionate, and sustainable world for all. We look for the face of God in every human being and care for our planet as God’s creation for all.
